Black Walnut Serving Tray

These stunning boards are made from salvaged local West Coast California Claro or Black Walnut. Each piece is uniquely figured, often showcasing vivid "feathering", swirling asymmetric grain patterns, "fiddleback" contouring and a myriad of colors. They are the perfect serving piece for small snacks or cheeses and make a wonderful accent to any table setting.

Discovered in California in the early 1800s, Juglans Hindsii commonly known as West Coast Walnut) is often used as rootstock for nut growing farms from the coast to central valley.

Dimensions are:
Small Tray: L12" x W4" x H3/4"
Medium Tray: L13" x W5" x H3/4"

Each piece is unique, hand crafted and finished in Sonoma County.

Note: All boards are finished with food-safe Tung Oil and dressed with beeswax to ensure food safety. Sizes are approximate, with some minor variations. Badass ceramic cup not included (sorry!).
